Imagine, having fled from Iran, learning to speak and write in a language not your own in an impeccable way and in a poetic prose that never fails to really touch my heart. In the house of the mosque, the family of Aqa Jaan has lived for eight centuries. It must be a very strange pyschological state to share some of the religious views of Islamic terrorists and possibly their anti-Western hostility too yet reject the suppression of women and the use of terrorism. Ingenious, but complacent in housee habits and religion, they are no match for the rough customers of the revolution.
