Here, in addition to the usual surprises about infinite sets, the young reader can be introduced to odd vs. So, thanks to Allen Knutson for pointing me to the book and to Kelsey Houston-Edwards for the Infinity video which has now led to three fun projects with the boys! Did less of a good job when talking about other things that were tossed in — like the 4 games that the numbers could play adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

My older son got a little confused by the numbering of the hotel rooms in this video. Hilbert are owners of Hotel Infinity where every number integer has a room. I had checked out this ‘ Flatland for Infinity’ on a recommendation, but wasn’t too sure about it. The cat that lives at the hotel with all the numbers is finally so baffled by the fact that the hotel is full but there is always more room that he moves away.
