There are many things that can be done and finding placement while the application is pending is an option. When a Medicaid candidate applies for, and is accepted into ALTCS, he or she meets with a caseworker to determine a health care plan that covers long-term care needs, including nursing home care, home care, adult foster care, and alternative residential care.

How do I Apply for ALTCS?
The ALTCS Arizona Long Term Care application can be very frustrating both in complexity and the amount of time it takes for the application to be either approved or denied. In fact, a majority of our ALTCS clients either previously had their applications denied or were simply overwhelmed with the process.
