Ok,
you made me go digging in my closet and I've come up with some more
accurate information.
I
found more pictures - some rare oldies - but the neat stuff I
found was my grandmother's birth certificate - one of those long
red and white English ones. I also found a large page in her hand
writing on the births of all her children. So now I can tell you
their correct names and birthdays.

So
here is what my grandmother's birth certificate has to say. She
was born Ellen Louise Wall April 1, 1882 in Regents Park, Pancras,
Middlesex. Her father Henry was a carpenter. We heard he specialized
in mirrors and picture frames - don't know how true that is. Her
mother's name was Zilpah Fuller. My grandmother had a sister -
they might have been twins???? Their mother died when they were
still quite young so their father sent them to an Anglican (Church
of England) monastery where they were raised by the nuns there.
She was always very religious and a strict Anglican. So, what
education she got, was from the nuns. I heard when she grew up
she became a housekeeper until she came to Canada to get married.
She would have been in her mid 20s then.
My cousin Arthur Flatray sent me this picture recently. He says
it's thought to be Nellie Wall who would be mine and his great
grandmother on the Allchin side of
the family.Nellie was married to Henry Wall and my grandmother
Ellen Louise Wall Allchin was one of 2 daughters born to them.
Nellie died young and the 2 girls were sent to an Anglican (Church
of England) convent to be raised by the nuns. Click the photo
